I am sure most people would rather have the site open and running

This has been quite the circus trying to do business on a site that has been continuously been down

Personally I'm looking forward to a much needed break, some downtime and some IRL relaxation with friends and family.

Hard to believe I know but yes we do and it would be nice to relax even if its just for a day or two, we hope the community will not begrudge us that.
"Even if its just for a day or two" You have 7 full days where the site is going on holiday, and its been working for ~5 min every few hours for the past week and a half meaning the market will be down for about half of December. There should be a vacation time, but a full week is absurd with how much down time we've been experiencing. Vendors are starting to lose trust in the markets that can't get simple features implemented and are constantly down. Hugs can only do so much when problems continue compounding.
Please understand, every bit of information that gets shared just leads to more questions. DPR has posted some updates, admittedly they are light on detail but for good reason.
We are under attack, you are under attack. Now is the time to hold together and making demands is not helpful. We understand you want answers but have some faith, we will overcome this challenge and those who seek to make themselves enemies of Silk Road will get what's coming to them.
I provided these answers to aid the Silk Road. Not to harm it. I wish the community to stick together. I saw too many threads asking about "Can I get an invite to TorMarket?" and "Check out this other market!!".

We might know the facts if DPR told us anything, at all. Ever.
