Wow, two posts! Can you provide some details? Actually I am really interested who is Hepaair and why does their name keep coming up?

Here is the short version - i ordered from him 2+ weeks ago, was told it shipped , a week went by and nothing, he had some story about his packages got stolen by a trusted friend or some bullshit. Then he said he would refund no problem and another week has passed, his rating has dropped from 99 to 79 in a few days, he said he was out of town and will refund in a few days which was last week, he says he isnt a scammer and is actually a victim of trusting his provider or whatever too much. He is a scammer, liar and scumbag, I will keep making threads until this is resolved

This guy is a fuckin crook, I have messaged him every 5 minutes since Friday and will keep it up, his rating is dropping 10 points a day, I am out a ton a dough to this scumbag. Hope he makes it right but now that I know he has a bunch of other people here who he scammed I am not so sure, I have 2 trusted people I buy from and I deviated from that which was my fault and trusted this scumbag, my irresponsibility cost me here

I know how you feel even some of the sellers with perfect records suddenly fuck up and bam! disappear taking everyone money (See sumyungai) it totally sucks but let me ask you a question which you might not like did you stay in escrow or did you fall for some too good to be true out of escrow story? It sounds like you went past the escrow set up that makes SR work so well...and that is a tough lesson to learn messaging him every 5 minutes and plastering the boards probably wont help because if their rating has dropped that fast in all likelihood they have vanished, and your pleas will fall on deaf ears, along with your hard earned BTC.

yes that is exactly what happened, and i am sure i got burned and he has vanished. total scumbaggery and i wish the worst for him. but i agree that my irresponsibility is the reason this happened. i now know better for next time but it does suck to have been scammed especially on a site where there are protocols to prevent this
He has come on this forum to say he isnt a scammer which is pretty bizarre and was actually good about communicating with me thruout the process, even until friday when i he asked how many btcs he owed me

sorry bro what you're going through with hepaair i'm on the same boat you on i ordered 4oz for $650 11 days ago from hepa and been getting the same stories. i'm more pissed at myself than i am at him. truthfully i dont think dude is a scammer and eventually he'll fix this big mess. if he was a scammer he'll just ignore us what else can he get out of us by communicating... now a liar he is and not good at it. the real truth will help us out alot and maybe he'll still have a good rating. in this game what goes around comes around if he is a scammer he'll get his.

I know it costs more to go through escrow especially after you buy the BTC at the dumb exchange rates they have here on SR but at the end of the day if you want to get value for money and do a larger buy the best thing is to communicate with the seller and ask them if they can make a custom listing for you and negotiate a price. A lot of sellers will have product they want to move fast and will give a discount for bulk so you get your good deal and the protection of escrow. If the seller refuses escrow for no good reason (Ratings etc.) there is trouble brewing...

Please help the community by keeping all the reports in one thread, having 6 threads doesn't help the situation and clutters up the forum.

Having run a SM forum before, can't you just merge all the current threads into this one? Or was that MyBB... Or vbulletin..... eurgh I've ran so many forums I can't keep up with all the forum scripts ahhahahahah

i paid this dude with a moneypak card. i'm going to give him till friday then im reporting the card stolen. not really worried about getting the cash back just want to find out who this guy is. there is guys who ordered 20 days ago who still waiting for answers..i ordered 13 days ago so that tells me he's been taking orders knowing he's fucking everybody. he told me 7 days ago he just ran into a hiccup and he have to refund me. thats what make all his stories bullshit. i'm more pissed at the guys who didnt leave feedback on this dude and the ones that gave him a good rating. his rating was 99 when i ordered with all good feedback

I did a custom order so had to send all the payment in advance, he had a 99 rating at the time and its been 14+ days now with no communication recently exceptfor that same bullshit story that he was the one who was scammed, he is too trusting and he was going to refund soon. what a scumbag

he's been stalling with me...sent me a message saying he have to refund me , then 3 days later another message saying how do i want my refund , then 4 more days he message me saying how much do i owe you again. that was my first buy on silk so i didnt know better. all his ratings was good so i went for it...i was actually looking for bulk so he could've got me for more. he told me $650 for 4ozs and i jumped on it quick just from his good ratings. its crazy because where i live people are getting killed for $5. then again the dude might have had a real problem because he didnt ignore us and he still trying to defend himself. lets just hope so. im going to give him to friday then im going to hit the panic button

I sent him 34.05 BTC Directly (as requested) and he put up a "10 gram querkle feedback" order worth 0.00 BTC just for feedback, it was this order that went into the Resolution Center
He messaged me saying his friend, who he intrusted with all the packages apparently was stealing them
Now, again this could be forgiven if he at least kept the lines of communication open.
Here's the thing, to me 34 BTC is quite a lot, and its Christmas soon, you all know what a stressful and expensive time of year that can be
I dont have any spare money to buy back more BTC, so he is really screwing me on this, I can appreciate if it wasn't his direct fault, but he does have a responsibility to at least keep lines of communication open with people he took money from but provided nothing in return! not even common decency, and based on his other feedback, he's ignoring others too.

Nothing was done. The only person on this website that has the authority 2 fight scammers is SR himself.

Scammers are increasing their activity on the site and if you want 2 start getting scammed less its time 2 PM Silk Road himself and explain 2 him that money is being stolen and customers as well as vendors are all paying a price so that the scammers may have a Merry Christmas.
Tell SR its time 2 aggressively pursue scammers and start doing more 2 prevent our money from being stolen.

Anyone heard anything about this? it just sucks that he was able to scam people and it went unchecked , I would think SR would want to crack down somehow, maybe break into his account or reroute the funds, probably a worthless cause now, I really do hope the worst for him and his family,what a miserable prick

I got a partial refund but good communication about the balance for next week. It takes alot of guts to come back and make things right and I commend him. It obviously could have been handled differently and not caused so much anxiety and commotion but at least he is making things right to the people that were affected, good for him

I too got scammed...
Just got a message from him today saying he wasn't able to be on silkroad for the past few days and is going to be sending me back my bitcoins. We will see...
If I ever get my bitcoins back, I'm sticking to escrow strictly. Lesson learned.

I too have been scammed by HepAir. I asked HepaAir to refund me on December 3rd after we couldn't come to an agreement on his pay first rate first policy.
A week ago (December 11th) I sent him a message asking him if he'd sent my package out yet as I hadn't gotten a refund and he said: "Sorry, Your order wasn't sent. I will refund your BTC in a couple days, I had a little problem and it's slowly getting back to normal. Thanks.".
I still have not seen any of my refund to date, nearly a full month later and have received very little feedback from HepaAir and if I have it's been promises of things he hasn't kept to. I may have lost ฿50.93 on my third ever purchase on SR.
Very expensive lesson, this is why you deal with established traders with plenty of feedback that don't require you to pay first I suppose.
