We've been having problems with some users being randomly logged out of Silk Road over the past couple of weeks. We've worked up a patch that I hope will solve the problem and will be taking down the site momentarily. If you experience any bugs after this update, please post them here asap. Thanks!

I personally believe its the TOR browser and not silk road which is doing that, but I could be wrong.
I never experienced any problems like that pf anysort. Thank god.

You know, I used to shoot ~.5-1g in 3cc needles. It was fucked up and dangerous. Made me go a bit crazy after the 6th or 7th shot (all within that range). More than a bit crazy, actually. Also, Staph.
It's insanely addictive, but it's a hell of a rush.
Dunno why I mentioned that, I think you pulled that admission out of me lol

Everything's fine for me, but I also didn't have the random logout issue.

Only ever had the log out issue a couple times. Now I'm getting
"Sorry, an error was encountered.
We could not process your request."
when I try to access the main site. I can't even get to the log-in screen.

Did you try restarting TOR?

UPDATE: next time I tried I got in and haven't had any problems

Logged out again here, experiencing 2/3 digit CAPTCHA's again which are impossible to complete. I am in multi-tab too if that is relavent, all cookies/cache etc were cleared before I logged in after SR came back online.

How mature and observant of you, but you seem to miss that is a cigar and not a part of the male anatomy, which ironically is something you may need to grow one time to become a real man. I also can have a pretty good guess you're not British if you don't understand the reference either. I see that the people who got the error message: "Sorry, an error was encountered" seem to have all reported it on 7/22. I can't say for absolutely certain, but it was probably that same day that I got that same message when trying trieo get to the SR site. I figured the site was down and hoped it was only for maintenance or similar, then checked some tormail, went back to SR page after that and got the log in page no problem. Didn't really give it much thought as everything looked the same inside.
Unless anyone or DPR knows of anything to have caused it to be concerned about, I'm not... and I'm sure he would let us know if there were.

Thanks for the report. That is actually a separate and known issue that we are still working on.

I've had the issue of being logged out at random as well, on both SR and the forums. Maybe 2 or 3 times in the last few days, no biggie, I just assumed it was a feature. ;)

it just did it to me repeatedly!! and when it did, every time, it had the 'numbers only' captcha..
things that make you go hmmm ???

Trying to log in 1h ago about 7-8 times...
All of them have failed... ( "only nubers" capcha.. too )
now it's back but a little bit slowly than yesterday...
Just want to report it..

Just saying I can not log in at all. I was thrown out a few times earlier, then had a few issues with the captchas and now I can't log in at all.
