Anyone noticed the forum has now been open for 2 years today (18th June)?....
Thought I'd point this out before it went by unnoticed :)

You have to admit that this was a major improvement over the old one though. ;D
Indeed an improvement, could have done a few more things too in my opinion but ah well, still with SMF basics.

True, it was very hobbled together, but it felt cozy.

It felt like I was on a site that was made in the early 80s.
Oh god I just remembered how everyone threw a fit when the new layout came. And yet it was one of the best things DPR could have done. Before this there was simply no character to the site. It was just basically pure text.

You should have seen it, wish I kept a screenshot now :) Just think, if you have 10 minutes to program a forum, what would it look like?

The one we have now is pretty low budget lol I can only imagine.
Did this forum start directly when SR started? Because SR is only what, 2.5 years old right?
I remember logging on to it early 2011 but I didn't start using it until early 2012
