Title: Hosting on the Tor network (I want a host to make a website)
Post by: ghostchili on June 18, 2013, 09:40 pm
I looked at the hidden wiki and came to a dead end.  Either the links are broken or the hosting is invite-only.  I found these guys: http://wevuysiyescilvc7.onion/      but they don't have MySQL.

Anybody know the best route for hosting and getting a .onion domain?

You can always self-host but if you're not the security type that's probably not a good idea if you're working with databases.

FreedomHosting is invite only but I don't have any spare invites right now :/ I think somebody on the marketplace was selling invites so may be worth having a look around there?

Yeah, I'm definitely not into hosting myself.  I know the ins and outs of webdesign and coding, but very little with servers and security (I know enough to be dangerous but not enough to say I did everything I could to be safe).  I'm sure a lot of people in here are in the same boat.

renton sells FH invites on the market for $17 last time I checked. Search for his vendor name. The listing is kind of hard to find otherwise.

Thanks!  I just messaged him.
