I've had a look through the electronics area but can't find any for sale. Is there somewhere else I can go to pick me up a new laptop/MacBook like I would some gear?

^^ what he said.  Just go to newegg or tigerdirect.  They have a lot of good deals.

I wouldn't by any hardware or software on here. It's just common sense.
