I know if you're with most windows  OS you can do this;
-Right click the file
-Click on properties
-Select the 'Details' tab
-Click on 'Remove Properties and Personal Information'
-Make sure the box is ticked next to any details you might want to remove (date taken etc)
-Click OK

There may be some other more high tech ways to delete more harder to access information, I'm not sure, but I suspect it'd differ between what type of camera you're using, settings, OS etc. Good luck!
