If this were true then wouldn't it stand to reason that any hidden service you access actually has your IP?

This is not how TOR works. Your information is obscured and encrypted each hop it takes in the network so that no hop knows anything more than the hop it received data from. Nightcrawler, Yoda, Obi, etc, the smart people, feel free to respond and elaborate on my pedestrian explanation.

We don't allow the sale of firearms on this website and this topic is skirting that line to the point that I feel compelled to lock it.

As to the spammers, please stay on topic in this thread. I want to see this remain focused on the OP's topic and not derailed into trip reports and poking fun at people. There is a legitimate possibility that someone would like to post here but doesn't out of the anticipation that they will be ridiculed or have their situation made light of.
