Silk Road Discussion / Re: To Our Leaders - Cpt'n, Crew, Mods & ALL helpers

We are a nonviolent organisation...essentially what we commit is a victimless crime. Victimless crime should be an oxymoron.
In the eyes of the US Federal Government, we are no different than violent drug smuggling organizations that kill DEA agents. It is unfortunate that despite repeated attempts by our DPR to have open dialogue about the issues, he has been completely ignored and instead is hunted like a criminal.
Instead, US tax dollars are being used to conduct worldwide manhunts for web forum moderators - and don't think for one second they spare one expense in the SR investigation. This money could be better used to eliminate violent crime on US streets, or to direct more resources toward taking down cartels.
Their priorities are all mixed up, and it is sad, because in their heart of hearts they (our oppressors) believe just as strongly in their cause as we do in ours. Imagine if a truce were called and the US government decided to support Silk Road as a means of reducing street crime related to drugs.
The many wonderful things we could do, if only the feds had some common sense and were not commanded by politicians who have to please the sheep to get re-elected. (Shuck Schumer, this is you.)
I do not do drugs, but I must be high on something to even consider that this could ever happen....but we can all dream.
