We learn and adapt. He did not have to make that bleedingly honest post, he could have shut the thing off and left us all with no answers.

Direct your anger at where the coins in those transactions wind up.

I could not have said it better myself.

We welcome all the new users who will be migrating here over the next several days and you know what - if page loads are slow - deal with it. Our admin are working around the clock to make sure we have a safe, secure platform from which to excercise our RIGHTS. And that is good enough for me.

Good on you, and welcome aboard those of you from Utopia who made the trip here. Many of you were among those who showed us unbelievable hospitality when the FBI took Silk Road, and we will do our best to extend the same olive branch to you.

I sympathize with you mate and you should not have to have waited this long, however as you can see LE are actively trying to bring sites like ours down (see: Utopia) and our admin is spending their time making sure that does not happen here.

Please continue to be patient - you did cancel it yourself, after all. Mods did not forget anything.

I don't think so Yoda, their main marketplace URL is seized, similar to ours back in October. Their forums are up and one of the mods (ilovespaghetti) has posted a thread trying to quell the panic as no one has heard from either of the devs.

To echo the above, this is a very big part of why we take our time to release updates - security and anonymity above all else.

I am in no mood to rub salt in their wounds though and would appreciate it if you guys did not either. Lets show some brotherhood like we were shown when this happened to us. This is an instance of our COMMON ENEMY striking against the greater movement that both SR and Utopia stand for. LE, take pleasure in having taken a safe haven for drug users to obtain their substance clean and with harm reduction advice away.

What global law enforcement refuses to publicly acknowledge is that places like SR and Utopia reduce the crime related to drug use. Why would they when they line their pockets with our tax dollars to put up seizure notices on websites who harm no one?

This is a war for our very basic human rights.

It is with great sadness that I announce it would seem that our budding competitor, Utopia Marketplace, has been seized by the Dutch National Police. This is a serious blow to the darkweb marketplace community as honest competition is our lifeblood.

I welcome any and all Utopia members to find refuge in our forums until you can figure out what has happened.

Unfortunately I do not have the capability to create a subforum for you as backopy did for us when our former home was seized by the US version of your national police, but please make yourselves at home here, regroup, and do it again. Show them that you, we, are a hydra - cut off one head and ten more spring up.
