usually takes 3 working days to get international transfer into my account. 5 days later still waiting. with no answers
anyone heard of https://intersango.com/
Intersango is good, use them all the time. They have a Lloyds account that you can send a deposit to and have the money in your account in less than a day usually.

hey dude i transfered about 600btc to intersango but sat there for 5 days ie no one bought coins so had no cash to transfer into my bank. am i missing something here i opened the order but no cash coins just sat ther, thanks bm
You're going to have to sell your coins at a price the market is willing to pay, Intersango lists at 3.50 by default, which no-one wants to buy at.
Look on the the right hand column of the sellers asking prices and try to match the lowest in increments i.e if it says 3.19 sell 50 at that price and keep watching the price changes so as not to lose. You should have in your mind a figure you need to sell at that you can't afford to drop below.
