Title: Operating system help

So i'm using windows however everyone keeps telling me how shit windows is. So i want to turn my OS into a multiple OS, utilizing the security of linux and tails. Can anyone givve me advice into how i do this?

If you want to use Tails it's basically an OS on a USB so that wouldn't need you to use a VM. If you want to use say for example something like Whonix then you would need to download Virtual Box or other VM software but Virutal Box would be prolly better if it's your first time as it's pretty easy to set up. There's a large selection of Linux OS but I'm assuming your doing this for security reasons so check out Whonix. Pretty solid. If you go that route make sure you read all the documentation on their website. Important stuff if you plan to use it.

IF you want plug and play Tails can't be beat.

Forgive me bro, but maximum convenience?  Linux?  Virtual machine (two virtual machines, no less)?  I'll believe it when I see it...  :-X
