Title: Desktop E-mail Client
Post by: P2P on August 06, 2013, 02:32 am
Which front-end e-mail clients come highly recommended by security gurus? Surprisingly I never really thought much of this but now I believe it would be an excellent extra layer of security. Do they work in conjunction with tails? What about selfsovereignty's SR client?

I don't see in which way this would be an extra layer of security as you still depend on an email service that can be trusted. Except for the fact that when using POP3 to fetch your mails you can have them deleted from the server right after downloading them.

To use PGP comfortably I use Thunderbird with the Enigmail add-on. That'd be an option also applicable to tails imho.
