Several fornights ago, I also on blurb out on the intergoogles that suggesting thatOxyclean had found a new use in the meth arena. The bunghole op didn't hint as to what that might be. Surely its an excellent glass cleaner it seemed like OP was hinting more at the production side. I'm really curious was that may be exactly. The google has failed me.
any insights?

I think you've fallen prey to myth and superstition, my friend. The primary ingredient in oxiclean is sodium percarbonate (sodium carbonate + hydrogen peroxide). There are much cleaner, more useful sources for both of those. To my knowledge neither are watched in the least.

LOL.. yeah, I figured. To be honest bro, until I saw your post in the meth thread I was thinking you were on something like day 5 :P
I think sodium carbonate is used as a reagent when going from phenylalanine to methamphetamine, but I'm not a chemist and I never paid that much attention to those cooks... I mean they involve a lot of steps and are just more complex and stuff, so I may be way off here.
