... how do you unsubscribe from threads? I've still got a bunch of newbie spam threads showing up when I click "Show new replies to your posts." up top.
Thanks,

subbing
thanks for asking

You have no idea how much I would love to see this feature on the forums! There is a thread running in feature requests asking for this to be added, I really hope an unsubscribe option becomes available at some stage.
Currently the only way I know of being able to 'unsubscribe' to a thread is if you delete all the posts you have made in it.

cool, thanks. hmm dont really like that current method. makes you look shady as hell. :) del all posts :(; especially if you got a lot of em

Yeah I agree, which is why when I click on 'show new replies to your posts' I am treated to pages of threads!
I would LOVE to unsubscribe from some believe me but going back and deleting my posts just isn't an option.
Hopefully this function will be added at some stage.

Jesus....
I think everyone would welcome this feature.
Come on, samesamebutdifferent, flex your Global Moderator and Hero Member muscle and make this happen! ;D

It'll never happen, and I'll tell you why: they didn't write the forum software, so they aren't going to be modifying it much. Here's my suggestion: spam in a single thread only, then when you've got 100 posts, delete your thread of 50 spam messages. That way your post count will even be accurate ;D

Wow, you're right SelfSovereignty, Simple Machines doesn't support the unsubscribe feature. Others have had this same problem however and a solution has been created:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1193
If whoever runs this place would install that, the world might just be a better place.... :D

AHA!! I get it now, the curse of the newbie spam is coming back to haunt them, there is some justice in there ;)

Yup, here's the thread I made about it: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=132669.0
...not a lot of traffic. read it or maybe even post to make me happy...? ;D haha
