I know im entering all the information correctly and i can almost guarenteed that my password wasnt hacked/phished so im not sure why it keeps saying login failed? even tried on different computers and my phone. I wouldnt care to start over again as a buyer but i want my bitcoins.

Have you tried to access SR via a different link at all or are you using the same one you always do?

I'm experiencing the same the last 2 days. Keep getting "loging failed, please try again"
I'm no newbie user, member since summer of 2011.. Dozens of transactions.. Good buyer statistics..
I use the latest browserbundle, tried logging in after using a new ID on the control panel..
I have no signs whatever that I've been hacked or that my password is compromised
Can any of the mods please help me out?

This type of issue cannot be resolved here I'm afraid, you will need to contact SR support and probably have your pass phrase reset, mods do not have the ability to resolve issues with pass phrases. Seem like a number of people are suddenly having this issue though, most have been phished but some are very confident this is not what has happened to them. Post back with an update when you know more please mate.

It's possible that by the time you actually go to log in, the captcha is no longer valid. Try sitting there waiting for it to load and logging in as soon as the picture pops up. See if it works.

Do you mean to say you changed your passphrase or PIN in the Silk Road account settings page -- and ever since, you can't log back in? If that's what you mean, did you use any strange characters, like percent signs or something? I'm just curious, not trying to get information on your password or something, heh.

Nah man, I just tried to login on the openingspage with my name, password and captcha..
I keep getting the "Login failed, please try again" I just can't get logged in.
My password and pin don't have strange characters and I could use them for logging in and finishing buying transactions until yesterday. Yesterday I tried to login after not accesing my account for about 20-ish days due to vacation

how would i go about contacting a mod? this is my first time ever actually posting in the forums and always use the same url since i have it memorized. Sucks because i have two transactions i havent finalized yet.

The guys with blue badges under their names instead of gold are mods. I think ooTTRA meant he contacted an admin, not a mod. The mods can't do anything about it.

It seems as though the forums were down all day and I am locked out of my account over on SR as well. My buyer account works, but my account associated with my moderator name is messed up.
I was signed in until 3am there, I ONLY login through Tails, and I have only EVER gotten to the URL based on having memorized it ... so I know that I was not phished. I've never entered my PIN anywhere. No word from Support all day.
No clue what is going on, why the forums were down all day, or why I am locked out of my account. :\

yes forums have been down all day. I was wondering if it was just me or not, but looks like. forum working fine now.

Now I'm locked out of my buyer account on SR as well -- that happened within the last 15 minutes.

Mods helped me out quickly. Got a new password by providing detailed information about my account.
