I've gone into resolution to extend the day that my transaction finalises, as my order isn't here yet. Typical delivery times are at least 3 weeks, and I've been waiting just the two. I messaged the vendor highlighting the fact that I went into resolution, so they could 'approve' it or whatever, and while they have read it, there's no change in the resolution centre. I'd rather not have it auto-finalise, and that's only 3 days away. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you took it into resolution, it won't autofinalize. I believe (though I've never had it happen personally) that it will just sit there waiting for customer support to decide what to do about it. If the coins got released no matter what you did, vendors would be scamming people all the time by just doing nothing & letting everything autofinalize... :)

Ah, yeah that makes sense. Suppose I didn't really think too much about it! Most of my orders take days so going into resolution was pretty new to me. Cheers. +1.

^^^This
You will get a message when the vendor responds to the resolution request, just going into resolution extends by 5 days anyway. You will get warning messages when resolution is about to expire , if the vendor does not agree to what you request the support will make a decision for you based upon your claim, stats etc.

Right, sounds good. Thanks for the info.
