Title: Using cell phone sensors to crack lockout PINs
Post by: SelfSovereignty on February 18, 2013, 10:42 am
After thinking about it, it's not terribly surprising... but I certainly wouldn't have thought of the vulnerability to begin with, personally.  Just another example of why mobile devices are so much more difficult to secure -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-21203035

Yes this is worrying. When installing an app on an android devide it tells you the permissions it grants and apps such as flashlights etc request permissions to read call logs modify storage and actually make and receive calls!
