Title: 276 Bitcoins lost: rolled back, or stolen?
Post by: bynter on February 18, 2013, 06:16 am
Well I logged into my SR account earlier, and to my dismay, was 8 Bitcoins short off what I should have had. I messaged an admin two days ago, and am still waiting for a reply.

Anyways, here's what happened: I sent 8 BTC to my SR account, and the final confirmation happened within a few hours after the site went down. Then, about thirty minutes later, 8 BTC was sent out, part of this transaction: http://blockchain.info/tx/163374accef2df4f77c39bea4f03f7212de13bf6caf689d409ba48d8c15b6f84

in my account history, it doesn't show those funds being recieved or sent, but blockchain.info does. Please God tell me this is just administration rolling back those coins accidentally

I don't... understand.  What's the number 276 have to do with it?

Also, it always gets sent back out.  It's part of Silk Road's mixing service.

Yeah, I don't quite understand either.  You're showing us a blockchain transaction of 276 bitcoins.  SR has a built-in coin tumbler that mixes your coins once they hit your wallet.

If you're not missing any bitcoins, then you don't need to be worried.
