Title: Breaking bad fantasy
Post by: nanpa2001 on January 12, 2013, 04:53 pm
Does anyone else here have a fantasy about having an underground lab making your high quality drug of choice?

Can't wait for the rest of the season to start.

I think about it all the time man! I would only be able to do that if I give up SR and become a model citizen though, otherwise I would just get caught within no time. Also, id need some of what Heisenburg has in his storagebox to start up :P

I'm obsessed with that shit.. If Walt and Jesse ever started back up and needed a new assistant then I'd be all over it! Can't wait for the new episodes, think they're starting 14th July.

FartBomber,

I thought you were already doing your own Heisenburg thing.

JForce, six months is a hell of a wait. The good news is that it may not actually be the final season.

Wait, say what?!  This has become one of my most favorite mother fucking shows, and I fucking hope you're right.  Who cares if they're greedy corporate lying bastards and they break their world of it being the last season.  I win, they win -- fuck it, who cares about the lie.  What makes you say this though?

I think its going to be the last series, mainly because the producers have said its going to be the last series.

At the very start of the first episode of the latest series, Heisenburg is celebrating his NEXT birthday, and there is an implication from the fact that he is buying guns, that at that point things have gone horribly wrong.  We know this is his next birthday because within the next couple of episodes he celebrates his birthday and its 1 year less that the one he was celebrating at the start of the latest series.

So we know that with 1 year of the characters timeline things go really really wrong.  We also know that at the end of the latest episode, hank figures out that Heisenburg  is his brother-in -law.

So the only way to get another series would be to have him on the run or something, which would be a major format change top the show (the kind of thing that producers don't do).

So my prediction is that there wont be another series once this has finished.

Some speculation that it could continue from the lead actor, and the creator doesn't rule it out.

Thanks for the link.

There is a very strange quote from the executive producer.

"Maybe we could revisit Walter White a year down the road and see where his life has gone. If he's still alive, that is"

We know he is alive 1 year from now, as we have seen him celebrate his next birthday.

We should seriously start pointing out SPOILER ALERTS, as something this serialized can really be half ruined if you read the wrong sentence, you know.  So I have no idea what you're talking about seeing him at his year-away birthday buying guns.  I missed that apparently?  But I've seen every episode up to the latest where Hank suddenly (SPOILER) sees the initials, and you just know from his face he realizes "oh God, Walter White."  End show.

Have there been more after that, or am I just not remembering this birthday and guns...?

Its the very start of this season, if I remember its the very first scene (he is in a diner, waiting for a guy with guns).

Just checked, it is the first scene of the first episode of this series and its his 52nd birthday as he aranges the bacon on his plate into the number 52.

Within the next few episodes its his birthday again but this time  its his 51st birthday and we also find out that having his age written in bacon is a family tradition of his.

Interesting.
I've never noticed this before.

I started over from the very 1st episode from season 1 the other day.
Just watch the intro. I find it very similar to ordering your first item of SR.  ;D
Can't wait for the next season. I'm sure it will be the last tho.

Regardless of if this is the last season or not, we've all got to agree... Hank is gonna die at some point this next half season ; )

Thats quite likely, especially if its the last season.

If you think back to the Sopranos, they started killing off some central characters in the last season.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Walt just flew into the bathroom and smashed his dome in with a block of frozen spinach... He's gone crazy!

Breaking bad is the best ever TV show since The wire.

Seriously overrated tv show is severely overrated. It's good but not the greatest.

The BB hype reminds me of when Pulp Fiction came out. For 3-4 years it was the greatest film of all time. Then the hype died and now it's just a top 100 flick.

I cant tell you how much I love this show.  You dont even understand what it did for the perception of chemists.  All people used to think about drug chemists was DARE meth lab scenes and toothless motherfuckers in the woods.  Breaking Bad does a good job of portraying the beautifully wild intellectual challenge that is advanced drug chemistry.
