Title: SR Issues for vendors
Post by: fuckingACE on December 18, 2012, 07:25 pm
Ok, Before you guys start working yourselves up into some mad frothy frenzy screaming about how much you love the site and want to burn ad crucify anyone that has a bad thing to say about it.. Let me just say one thing, I love this site. But there are however problems with it. So I want to know if it safe for me to sell on here. I don't want conjecture or reams of people repeating the same thing. I take my freedom seriously. So please only reply if you have learn t to hold your own opinions.

Ok I want to know the following:

Could the most recent attack (the phishing images on products) be LE harvesting BTC addresses.

Could the last DDos have been LE

Is it safe to list products on here and if so, how can I mitigate the current attack on my listings? ma by not include fotos or something?

Should we all be holding off until DPR tells us whats what?
'
Should we be thinking that there is a big enough problem to stop using this site altogether?

Now my 2 cents.. Vendors fees went up a  fold amount, I know this attack is not DPR´s fault, but I also think that when you ask for more money from your customers you have to offer a better product.. The money we are paying in fees and commission needs to correspond directly to the quality of the anonymous sales platform that DPR is offering. Both in features and security. I do not currently feel this is the case, so as a paying customer I would like DPR to please sort it out. The same as when I go and buy a car with a flat tyre I expect them to fix it.. Simples.

Extremely unlikely.

Could the last DDos have been LE

Yes.  Doubtful, but yes.

As safe as ever.  Mitigate the current problems?  Take down the pictures.  I mean does anybody seriously believe the product pictured is what they're gonna get anyway?  I sure don't.

Should we all be holding off until DPR tells us whats what?

I wouldn't.  Who knows when that'll be.  The nice thing is that the site is the site -- with or without the original DPR and his ideology leading it, it functions and people are using it successfully.

Should we be thinking that there is a big enough problem to stop using this site altogether?

As a buyer, let me just say: please don't stop.  We like your drugs and want you here as competition to drive the quality up and the prices down, so we can live longer, higher quality drug-infested lives :)

What it comes down to is really quite simple: Tor, as far as I've ever seen, is still as safe as ever.  No one has learned how to find you, which makes the site as safe as it ever was in that regard.

My pictures are exactly what you get. And how do you take down pictures? You can't just remove them...?
Also...even with no pictures, they just add a picture to the listing w/the quickbuy on it. I had a listing w/no picture get a random chemical 'diagram' with quickbuy.

Well that's unfortunate; I didn't realize that.  I often browse the site without pictures, actually.  It never really seems to make it faster, but theoretically it should.  And at least it eases the demand on the server.

(there's a setting in your accounts options page to disable the pictures so the site never sends them in the first place, but it only effects your own account, so...)

If you are not getting the product that is being shown in the picture on the listing then you are buying from the wrong sellers..

I gave exactly  the same reason in the topic about the vendor fees.
We pay and pay,,vendor fee, selling fees and its often -almost- impossible to log in.
Unacceptable
We are not responsible why it is not working, we are although entitled to have a good working site.
Of course, when problems you will not hear any of us responsible sellers complaining....you know it have to be solved and you wait, really no problem !!
But, as example, today I try for now about oops....7 !! hours to get in.
It worked one time about as long as I had to refresh the messages....gone.
Its a -multi-million dollar business...the SR site I mean.
That money is generated by all the people here, vendors en buyers. Instead of being ''thankfull '' for that you hear all screaming
SR IS GREAT, SR IS GOOD, SR IS WONDERFUL....DPR IS FUCKING GOD
If/when DPR is still running this show (what I doubt) he better get his shit together and really invest so it will work as it should.
I LEAVE, TAKING MY CLIENTS WITH ME
