-
those shadow people are exactly why i don't use stimulants anymore.
godspeed, BenCousins

It's not a real meth binge till the shadow people come out to play 8)
-
No clowns?
-
at what mark do y'all start seeing the shadow people?
-
The only time I see them is when I take xanax to sleep. All kinds of other weird shit seems to happen on it too.
-
Why would xanax make you see anything???
-

When I was younger it seemed like I could stay up a lot longer before I would see shit, probably like 5-7 days. These days it doesn't take too much more then 72-90 hours and I'm already spun the fuck out.
-
i must have a low resistance, usually after 1 full night of hard partying...crank,buds,acid,liquor...etc i hear car horns people call my name etc..

Depends on the quality of the stimulant. I've seen them after just a night but once I started to suffer from stimulant psychosis I grew much more prone to it.
I also no longer do stimulants for this very reason.

Shadow people are a result of sleep deprivation and not any sort of stimulant......

I've seen weird static-like outlines of dogs and cats running in & out of rooms in front of me; I've seen people sitting in chairs next to me out of the corner of my eye that vanished when I flicked my eyes over and came back the second I looked away again; I've seen shadows that for a few seconds my mind thought were people or goblins or fucking something; I've seen shrubs in the distance that were monsters running at me for half a second; I've seen dozens of smoke plumes rising up out of my carpet that I could interact with and move around without having them disappear like most disturbances; I've heard my morning alarm going off in the distance -- constantly, all mother fucking day long, for like two days straight; I've heard my phone ring in the next room when it's on my desk in front of me...
... yet I have never, ever seen fucking shadow people. Why they no like me, Ben? :'(

Psychosis creeps up on me around the 18 hour mark. Depends on the stimulant though. Too much dopamine / not enough sleep makes eddie's brain hurt.

Stimulant psychosis (a nearly schizophrenic state brought on by stimulant abuse) exists as something separate from mere sleep deprivation and is a very real condition. Effectively they are very similar but I've suffered the effects of it with very little sleep deprivation by consuming to much meth in a single night.
Subjectively speaking, the effects are about the same as sleep deprivation but with a lot more paranoia and without actually being deprived of sleep. Once I had my first psychotic episode on meth (which was partially induced by sleep deprivation) I became very susceptible to future episodes. It's not fun shit. It's not merely staying up until you start to trip and seeing people that don't exist. It's getting so twacked out you think everyone is out to get you. Thinking the walls creaking in your house are people coming up and down the stairs. Thinking shadows are people trying to spy on you, etc.
Anyway, maybe my definition of shadow people and your's differ. But the first time I experienced them I was up to late, listening to coast to coast, and coming down off meth. I hadn't even hit the 24 hour mark on sleep deprivation and I thought extra-dimensional entities were in my room with me.
I've also seen the same phenomena on mushrooms, though in that instance I didn't feel threatened at all and just watched them flit in and out of the shadows. I felt they meant me harm but felt their way in was my fear, which I didn't feel at the time.
But like I said, maybe you're using the word differently than I do.

LOL; Hell, thinking I hear people moving or that everyone's out to get me happens all the time. I mean that's half my day right there ::)
I don't know... Honestly, I've always wondered why the fuck I don't seem to crack the way you're supposed to. I see all these things, I feel like you're all out to get me and you all know every last little secret, that every post I make everyone is snickering about together behind my back, and on, and on... and yet I know it's not real. I mean logically I've never believed any of that, I just feel as though I do.
I'd hate for it to happen randomly or at unpredictable times, but I've always wanted to have a psychotic episode just to see what it's like. Now that you guys say it happens much more often & easily after the first time though, I'm actually pretty glad I don't know what it's like... thanks guys. This was a good chat :P

I took alot of mdma(not the best quality) one time with some friends and stayed up all night, when i tried to sleep and closed my eyes in my head i was still having conversations with them, actually talking to them while i tried to sleep(by myself).

I've had conversations with people who weren't there and all kinds of hallucinations on high doses of MD(M)A.

Take 36 dramamine capsules. That will remove the shadow people and replace them with realistic ones!
dramamine tripping is by far the most terrifying hallucination i've ever endured. And I've taken acid doses in the 1mg range (more like 18 drops).

is it a deliriant?

I've heard a lot of people describe MDA as more psychedelic than MDMA, and one person describe it as more delusional, but I think that's because he got tired of being a good trip sitter.
I think that's true. When I take more than 200 mg of MDMA I start to hallucinate stuff "inside" the eye wiggles, but if I straighten my eyes out they go away. Usually I just trance out for a while and when I focus again I realize that that person I thought I was talking to is really a painting on the wall or a person on TV. With MDA, I haven't personally experienced it, but I've talked to people who saw full on patterns on the walls with their eyes open and their mind focused, which is more psychedelic.

Effectively yes. It's motion sickness pills but in high quantities it's similar to jimson weed without as much risk of death.
