Title: Funny threats by users - a question to Vendors
Post by: jesusofrave on October 24, 2012, 09:39 am
Hello fellow vendors

What do you do in the following situations?

Please read from the bottom of the thread upwards...

-------------------------------------

jesusofrave(99)    This is the reason why I cancelled your order. It is not me who has your money, it is SR.

I have chosen not to work with you as you were ordering > 150USD of goods without any stats.

You are now threatening me. I am going to call in SR admins to help sort this out.

jesusofrave(99)    Hey there, I am not happy sending out that many to someone with no buying stats. I have been ripped off in this way. I am cancelling the orders. Please begin with smaller amounts so we can build up trust.

Many thanks,

russiamaniac    Hi. Whether a product comes to Russia? I ordered a little bit you on the recommendation of Jannis. How soon comes, and whether problems with customs? Regards.

Tell them to fuck off and say that they are added to the twat-buyers list and potentially do a thread about them in the public forum yourself.

I don't mean to hijack the thread -- flames will be warmly received if appropriate -- but lately I've been wondering more and more about the crushing range of site activities that require manual attention from SR staff.  Is there any automation provided for vendors when it comes to avoiding accidentally shipping something to a blackballed buyer?  An address that has a strong likelihood of being associated with known law enforcement?  Flagging messages or orders as being from people that aren't worth the trouble?

Any number of other things that I'm not even thinking of?  Or is that all left to the vendor to handle manually?  I suddenly realized there may be a great deal of things people would like to see implemented in a perfect world, provided there's no particular reason such things have been left out?

I guess what I'm really wondering is, if the SR staff don't have the time or inclination to do such things, why some third party hasn't written an open source app to do the things that don't need to run on the server's side?

Not sure you could make much noise on the forum with English like that...

Sorry for dumping this guy on you. I didn't wanna do business with him either :D

Money gets refunded automatically by the way, so he should have it in his account if you canceled the order. He seemed a somewhat "difficult" customer.

Just an observation, but $150 isn't a very large order is it?  As a buyer, anytime a vendor has canceled an order on me and SR refunded me light, the vendor has stepped up and paid the difference.  It's only happened two times, neither were my fault.  If it were me, I'd refund the difference since you were the one that decided to end the transaction.  Just my 2c, its your business and you should run it however you feel comfortable.
