Can you use text messages on a smartphone? If so, and you have two Android devices (as in an iPhone won't work), look up TextSecure in the Google Market, or Play Store, or whatever the fuck they call it these days. It uses solid encryption and it's as painless as having to type in a password to open a text messaging app before you send & receive text messages. Does it all like magic, almost.Again though, Android only, and it won't protect your identity *at all*. It will provide enough encryption to prevent anybody from being able to intercept your conversation though (uses the OTR protocol, if you're curious).
