Yeah, yeah, I know what I said like 2 inches above this post. I'm fickle, what d'ya want, heh.Quote from: xKatonkax on May 18, 2013, 08:51 amQuote from: InfiniteSource on May 18, 2013, 08:26 amI get tightness in the chest. Strange. two side effects I always experience with every batch I try are shortness of breath and tachycardia, after using for 12 years though Ive just learned to live with it( hell even as a fat guy Im not dead yet, WOOHOO!). Im still a perfectly healthy person ( aside from you know, the fatness) hell even my teeth are sparkling clean after all these years of smoking. I feel that things like that may be detrimental somewhat, but they arent life threatening unless you are ovedosing ( being an idiot as I like to call it ).Shortness of breath can be a lot of things; it may be cardiomyopathy, which is a swelling and weakening of the heart muscle. Yes, that causes shortness of breath: I'm no doctor, but I assume it's because you're not pumping enough blood to cycle the carbon dioxide out of your lungs and get enough oxygen into your blood, so your nervous system makes you breathe heavily to compensate.Cardiomyopathy can kill you in a lot of ways, all of which involve your heart basically falling over dead -- which is followed moments later by you falling over dead too, obviously. The good news is that if you survive without causing any real damage to anything, you'll probably be fine and heal as good as new. That's if you lay off the ice for a good long time and let yourself heal; you're not gonna heal if you're still tweaking.... I had a bit of a scare with this recently. Was talking to an M.D. a few times a week -- just chatting and stuff -- and ended up asking about some physical symptoms I had developed. She told me I may have cardiomyopathy, or if I'm unlucky, pulmonary hypertension. Meth can cause them both, and nobody heals from pulmonary hypertension. It's terminal. Without treatment you last 1-2 years. With treatment you might make it 4. I suppose if you don't stop tweaking though you'd be lucky to make it 6 months, who knows.I'm almost positive I don't have it, personally, because my chronic and unbelievably severe shortness of breath has somehow slowly healed and almost totally gone away. Sometimes getting out of bed and walking down the hallway had me leaning against the wall in exhaustion and panting like I'd just sprinted a quarter mile. Almost completely disappeared every time I dosed though... more meth I took, the less short of breath I became.... I have no clue why I'm rambling about this. It just kind of fucks with you when a doctor you've been having friendly chats with tells you that you need to go get tested before the weekend is over because you could drop dead before Monday if it really is pulmonary hypertension that's progressed that far...But hey, apparently it was just a temporary thing, I mean I'm fine now. It happens very rarely now and it's nowhere near as severe as it was for awhile. So yeah, I'm all good, and enough exhausted rubbish out of me: what I'm getting at though is that shortness of breath is a bad sign, chronic shortness of breath is a worse one, and it may have absolutely fucking nothing to do with your lungs.Oh yeah, FYI: that bitchy "your IP just posted 0 seconds ago," message is because we all go through a finite set of Tor nodes when we connect to the forums here. Those nodes pretend that our traffic is really their traffic so it looks like our posts originate from them and not us. So basically, the IP the forum sees really did post 0 seconds ago -- it was just somebody other than you that did it.
