Quote from: remoulade on January 21, 2013, 05:05 pmReceived 2g from HollandOnline, 4 or 5 working days to the UK. It's paste, so I'm currently drying it before I give it a go. I've got some from AfghanApothecary as well, however now that it's dry some of it [very little, TBF] has a pink colour to it, and I'm hesitant to put red phosphorous in my body... Anyone know if it's particularly harmful?I doubt the pink color is from red phosphorous. I certainly hope not, anyway: red phosphorous has a habit of turning into white phosphorous when stored, and white phosphorous is extremely volatile, nasty stuff. The kind of thing that frightens me to have sitting around -- spontaneous ignition upon exposure to room temperature air kind of stuff if I recall correctly. If you're thinking it's from the common red phosphorous + I2 meth recipe, I'm not sure that's a pragmatic way to make amphetamine sulfate... basically it's used to reduce pseudoephedrine to methamphetamine, which involves stripping off a hydroxyl group (I hope I'm recalling that correctly). So it would usually produce meth, not amphetamine sulfate, unless the precursor started without that hydroxyl group & reduced to amphetamine for some other reason than meth is produced from pfed. Again though, I'm not a chemist; take it with a grain of salt.
