LOL; I'm sorry if I made you feel that my comment was directed toward anyone but the site admins. I wasn't trying to be aggressive or belittle you, dbz. But the people apparently know enough to design a website. If they have any idea how a web server is designed and configured in order to handle the demands of thousands of parallel requests, they can prevent this attack from crippling them. I won't point out how explicitly, and I've never tested my theory, but I believe it's as simple as two configuration options even if their server is of the multithreaded or multiprocess sort.It's an opinion, not a fact, and I left plenty of room for an error in my judgment. I didn't realize expressing my opinion on the longevity of this specific attack was unreasonable, but you're welcome to take it however you please.
