I had a strange issue with APG. It basically worked, but one of the things I tried it... got funky about. Like it said it worked, then the file wasn't there. I mean it just didn't exist even though the program said it did. Then the plaintext file I tried to encrypt, when I checked, wasn't there anymore either. Then even APG stopped saying the encrypted file it had created succesfully was still there. I didn't care enough to look into it and see if it was my fault or what, but anyway... it happened.Android devices are better than iPhones, but it's still a locked-down operating system designed to collect massive amounts of usage data and keep control in the hands of the carriers, not the phone owners. That doesn't bode well for security. I personally don't trust using Tor or SR or the forums on my android device, and it's rooted and has a custom ROM and kernel even. I still won't trust it to talk about drugs or my lifestyle. Period.
