Just keep in mind that if you do come on tomorrow or when ever and the site is down dont freak out and start throwing all those crazy conspiracy theories. Not saying anyone of you here has done it, its just a common occurrence every time the site goes down. But yes I'm sure a lot of us are getting the same error every now and then and Ive notice today and especially more so tonight the site is running extremely slow as well. I dont get it, cant they just buy a bigger server? How does that all work anyways? In simple minded terms please. LolI like to think I'm good at explaining stuff simply, so let's find out shall we :)Don't forget, this is the Tor network we're talking about. That means that you're connecting to... I think it's 3 computers on the way to SR, then you finally hit SR. It may be more or less, I'm not sure, but the basic point remains the same: the slowest connection between you and SR is basically the speed at which your connection to the site will run at. If one of those links between you and SR is bogged down, your connection to SR will be bogged down no matter how fast the server is.The 500 error, though, is from the SR server itself. If you can't connect at all, it's probably just a link along the way or the Tor network trying to find a route to SR but not being able to yet. That's why getting a "new identity" can help -- because it forces Tor to switch it's path to the server (which makes it look like you're somebody different than you just were).
