Quote from: uniqueusername on November 13, 2012, 09:30 pmI have a question about cutting with caffeine. I agree that it's lame, and cutting sucks. What I don't get is people here seem to also get such very negative effects from it.But, really, if you are taking say 100mg of amp, even if it was actually 100% caffeine cut, you are still only ingesting 100mg of caffeine. This is a very normal amount of caffeine, even for a non-regular user. Most coffee is anywhere from 50-200mg caffeine, redbull is 88mg caffeine, monster is around 160mg caffeine. I'm a semi-regular caffeine user, but it still takes me 400-500mg before I start to feel discomfort close to what gets reported on the forums. So, are people here just mistaking crappy/tainted/low quality amphetamine with caffeine-cut? Or do we just have a lot of forum member with abnormally low caffeine tolerances? If it was 100% caffeine cut, it would be 100% caffeine, not amp + caffeine. You mean 50% caffeine I assume. On a run, I sometimes hit 3-4g in 2-5 days. That means I'd have to be taking 3-4g of caffeine in 2-5 days. Have you ever taken a gram of caffeine in a day? It does not feel good. There's also the fact that caffeine and amphetamine have different durations. By cutting with caffeine, you're depriving me of the option to customize my caffeine/amphetamine ingestion for my own physiology. I know how to do that very well. There's no one size fits all. It's just... aggravating on the face of it. If I want more caffeine, I'll have some. I don't want it forced on me in my speed.
