This never happened to me before. Dosed again this morning to get through the day, feeling crappy by now:/Interesting. D-amp should have a shorter half-life than DL. I remember that from dexedrine, I had an event horizon, beyond which I wouldn't allow myself to take more, or else I had troubles falling asleep and needed benzos. Switch to Adderall and I had to move it back a few hours, I think it ended up at 1400. That isn't actually a property of d-amp vs. l-amp as far as I know (not saying it isn't, just that I know nothing that says it is). Adderall lasts longer because it's a combination of four different amphetamine salts, each with a slightly different rate of absorption and bioavailability. Dexedrine is pure dextroamphetamine hydrochloride; adderall is dextroamphetamine sulfate, dextroamphetamine saccharrate, amphetamine sulfate, and amphetamine aspartate. BTW, the saccharate and aspartate have nothing to do with it tasting like artificial sweetener (no relation to saccharine or aspartame): some of them taste semi-sweet because Barr, one of the major manufacturers, puts sugar in the pill to make it taste better (theirs are ovals, most others I've seen are circles). A little questionable given that it's notorious for being prescribed to children, but hey, big pharma does what it likes I guess.
