Just a reminder: it's guaranteed that people who are out to take away your freedom monitor everything said here. This is a thread about meth dealers, after all, and in America something like 75% of inmates are non-violent offenders now. I read earlier that US federal laws carry a mandatory 5 year sentence for possession of 5 grams of meth (meaning the judge can't choose a lighter sentence even if they want to). Don't know if that's right, but still, how anybody can think doing something like that to some poor addict is justified I'll never know...Anyway, don't forget to be careful about letting on where you're located, prior arrests, ethnicity, etc.. Law enforcement is a lot more competent than people seem to give them credit for. Even unbreakable encryption doesn't do any good if you give them enough data points to identify you with the things you say; if I had politicians bitching at me to shut this place down (along with weekly "how to buy drugs online," stories in papers and magazines), I'd be pragmatic about it until the geeks figured out how to locate the server. As in I'd ignore the dealers I couldn't find and go after every buyer I saw to try and scare the demand away instead of the supply. That's enough to not seem powerless, at least. Ignoring who's right or wrong, this entire endeavor is a huge "fuck you," aimed right at some very powerful people. People who are also fucking insane and think it's a good thing to ruin someone's life whether they're hurting anybody else or not.Even things like the slang you use, the weather, or just being stuck in a traffic jam is enough info to identify somebody sometimes. Seriously: regional dialect + timestamped weather data + specific traffic patterns = they probably can tell what city you're in. They must order from vendors to get a basic location for all of them, too, and they can probably guess at when drug mail is likely to come through a given area from feedback if they have locations. Sounds awfully close to game over if you ask me.True, they'd have to actually make a real effort to do all this... but personally I'd rather be a paranoid nut job looking over my shoulder than a realistic felon counting the years they stole from me. It came to mind while reading a few posts and thought it was worth pointing out. Can always edit things if you decide you want to.Apologies if I sound pretentious; I don't mean to -- just how I get sometimes.
