Title: [SOLVED] resolution order creeping towards autofinalize, and vendor has disappea
Post by: dyametrikal on June 05, 2013, 03:35 am
Hi!

I am a relatively new SR user. Apologies if I touch on anything that has been discussed in the forum already. I looked up similar issues in recent posts but didn't find anything exactly like my situation.

I have order in resolution (we agreed to extend the due date by 14 days). It still hasn't arrived, and the vendor went on what was suppose d to be a weekend vacation but now hasn't been online in 12 days. It's 5 days until the new due date and I am worried about it autofinalizing if the vendor doesn't log in before then. What can I do to prevent that, and how long should I wait before doing so?

Edit: I wrote this at 6 days and left it until today to see if vendor might reappear... and now when I click on view all the transaction details are empty. What is happening?

Thank you for your help :)

Can you tell us who the vendor is/was?  It's possible they were banned and that's why all the transaction details are gone?  I actually have no idea.

Hey scout, I PM'd you the name of the vendor so as not to inadvertently make them look bad if forces beyond their control have prevented them from logging in. I don't think they are banned, though - the profile still exists and they have solid feedback... unless that would still show up anyway.

No, if the vendor had been banned, you'd just get dropped directly into a page with an empty text box to send them a message.  No profile or listings or feedback or info would show other than that.

So, looking at it, they definitely haven't been banned, but I *do* see that they haven't been on at all in the last 12 days.  Not sure what that's about, but I replied to your PM by recommending that you go ahead and request a refund in the resolution center before it autofinalizes on you.
