Title: Using SR with Scripts turned on...?
Post by: Thingsr1 on June 04, 2013, 02:43 am
How risky is using SR once with scripts turned on? Say the Scripts were turned on globally on the tor browser without you knowing and you logged into SR.  And say SR seemed odd when you were using it, logged you out several times unexpectedly, etc.  Would this be a major concern if passwords were changed, etc.  Could an instance like this pose a security risk?  Would it be a risk of bitcoin theft, LE, etc, etc?  Or would it be safe because SR doesn't use scripts at all?  Would there be a threat of IP exposure, etc?

One thing I can tell you for sure is that the random logging out issue is a glitch that we've all been experiencing as a result of some server work done not long ago.  It's nothing dangerous or risky or sinister - it's just annoying.  :D

Thanks Scout, I could see where leaving scrips on could scare a newbie quite a bit.  So, anyone else have any thoughts on this?
