Hey!
Purchased from a reputable vendor that I've had one good transaction with in the past, of similar ($) value.
On my most recent order, the package took 4 days to arrive but when it did the contents were not what were displayed or described on the product page. I contacted the vendor asking why this was and the vendor told me that he does have a different product of similar description to the one I have received, and thinks he has sent it by mistake.
I believe this is an honest mistake because of a good past transaction and 99 reputation. Vendor offered to re-send the original order said to keep the product I did not order/want if I sent him a picture of the product I'd received to prove that he had made a mistake, along with my address for a re-ship. Very kind and very reasonable.
However, this was around a week ago. I sent the photo (along with timestamp and both usernames as proof) and the vendor has not logged in since his last message to me one week ago. The vendor has also taken all of his listings offline.
I'm getting closer to the auto-finalise deadline. What should happen in this situation? I don't want to take this to resolution centre because I don't feel like I have been scammed purposefully, but I would like my original order. I don't think the vendor should lose money from an honest mistake, but unfortunately I don't think I should have to lose money on a product I have no use for, either.
Any clues? A bit confused!

You need to take it to the resolution center. It doesn't mean you're accusing the vendor of scamming you, but you definitely don't want it to autofinalize on you. Click resolve and work with staff & the vendor to come to an agreement there.
