Title: Help! BTC sent through Coinapault not in account
Post by: maydei on May 06, 2013, 10:44 pm
I used bitinstant and coinapault to get some bitcoins in my account and they aren't showing up - I've done this before a bunch of times and it never takes very long.  Does anyone know who to contact regarding this problem?  I just read that refreshing your address is best but i didn't do that this time because i never had issues without it - any suggestions on what to do are much appreciated!

Sometimes it takes longer than usual, i've been waiting eight hours or so now.
there is a thread about this on silk road discussion which has useful information on it.
you can contact SR support when it has been 24 hours or more.
nothing to worry about  :)

I am currently having the same problem. I emailed support@bitinstant.com and this is what they said:

Have you not received your Coinapult email yet? It can take several hours to come through some times. Also, check your spam folder.
Best,

Seth

Basically now I just have to wait and see, seems like these problems aren't uncommon though. On a lighter note it makes their URL look ironic.

Same issue here. It's been 4 hours since cash deposit now and I'm up to 50 confirmations. The worst part is that I'm very impatient by nature. I hope this gets resolved soon. My wife will not be happy if this money simply disappears into the ether, lol! Is that even possible? I mean, a 24 hour delay I can handle but losing my coin altogether I can't.
