Title: bitcoins?

hello there,
 im new to this obviously. i just got set up and made my bitcoin wallet and everything. bought some bitcoins and tryed to send them from my blockchain wallet to silk road. it said that they have sent and it has been probably about 10-15min. and they still havnt shown up in my silk road account. how long does this usually take?

It can take several hours, Just wait and chill out they will get there.  (Also read any FAQs before posting, it answers this)

It will always take AT LEAST 6 confirmations on blockchain before the bitcoins appear in your wallet.  However, there are sometimes delays, so if you haven't received the coins after 12 hours, send a message to SR Support so they can look into it.

I hear it takes awhile.

On another note how did you get the coins? I want to buy some but it is a little confusing.

thanks a lot guys. sorry for posting this right of bat. after i posted i did some reading and was able to answer my own question. just a little anxious right now.
