Title: order cancelled
Post by: emense on May 05, 2013, 08:37 pm
I'm new to silk road and ordered some weed from Budworx UK.

I fe'd early at their request.

I was then told that they were canceling my order as the price was wrong on the site due to a technical error with silk road.

This was two days ago and I have not had my Bitcoins back and no replies to my latest emails.

I also sent a message to silk road admin about it and nothing.

Any ideas as to my next course of action? I don't want to leave s bad review for budworx as I always like to give the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately, if you finalized early, there's nothing SR can do to help you get your money back.  The escrow system is in place for a reason - to provide protection to vendors and buyers alike.  When you choose to deal outside of the escrow system, there's nothing that SR Support can do in cases like these.  :(

It is always best to stay in escrow.

The only thing I can think of for you to do at this point would be to contact the vendor and try to work it out with them.

Well budworx uk have not replied to my emails for two days now and silk road say that even if I got a refund from the vendor, they wouldn't give back the ten percent.

On this basis alone I have now given a negative review.

I even told him that I would accept twenty five percent less product to offset the loss that he said he was making but still nothing and no refund..

Budworx can take a good few days to respond to messages, I can only guess at the volume they get but it must be huge.

They have posted in the forums stating they will consider refunds even for finalized orders, they claim to consider each issue on a case by case basis so if you have good buyer stats and/or an established relationship with them it should help you work out a resolution.

If you have given them a negative review and low feedback score before having some discussion with them I'm pretty sure you will burn any chances of working something out. I understand they have been slow to respond but if it has literally just been a couple of days I would invite you to change your feedback and give it a few more days and if nothing changes then you edit your feedback accordingly.

If I can can revise my feedback at any time then I'm leaving it as it is as it's how I feel.

I have not been treated fairly and until I do I will leave the feedback that is appropriate.

He contacted my quick enough to let me know that he was cancelling my order but has not replied to any other messages and the listing for the item that I purchased is still up on silk road!

All I want is the product I paid for and I even offered to accept less. I can't be more fair then that.

UPDATE

Budworx UK has just refunded me the full amount of Bitcoin that I paid so I am now very happy.

I have left him revised feedback to reflect this.

:-)
