Anyone having this problem........is it me or am I just paranoid that someone has hacked the site....now trying to steal pass words and pins?
I have had to sign in 4 times in the last 3 hours......
anyone?
I love that the site is up.......love that.....just concerned.

Eh, I was kicked to the sign in page which I thought was kind of weird because it usually never does that unless I actually close out the browser and reopen it but I'm not really too worried about it.

It was an issue a lot of people were having about 12 hours ago. Is it still happening?

When it happened to me, it was about half an hour ago and it coincided with a generic forum error. Perhaps they're related?

I was knocked off a little over an hour ago, Captcha read "610"....

Yep, this glitch was caused by some of the new securities measures taken to fight back against the attackers. It should be fixed within the next day or two for everyone.

This is happening about every 15 minutes now.....sure hope it gets fixed.

ya sit on the server ya get booted idle ya get booted....while i was browsing listings...who had active listings..who didnt...i never got the auto-log-out (which in my opinion is awesome)
then when i went and sat on the pot for 6 minutes...wiped...got up and got some orange juice...looked at my fish for a few more minutes then sat back down to my computer...at that time i noticed i had been logged out :)

seriously dont hang on the site if you're done with business..do your deed then log off and come back here to the forums to shoot the shit...troll....all around have fun....

I'm getting kicked out a lot too, and I'm seeing the three number captcha. As long as I can log back in right away I don't care though. We all have business to conduct.

This has happened in the past - the 3-character captcha and getting logged out randomly. Same kind of thing then - just a glitch from some server work. They're getting most of these things ironed out, but some will take longer than others, and they can't just roll everything back because there is still the possibility that the attacker will return. Still, let me know if this continues happening over the next day or two.

Hmm this just started happening to me as well. Gotten kicked out like 7 times now in the past hour. Sometimes it's only a 2 or 3 number captcha. Quite annoying I have to say. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

I thought it was either a rather advanced phishing attempt or exactly what it is, Log out after a certain amount of time. great system i reckon. Hope it works, this site only keeps getting stronger.
people are freaking out because of this man, everybody thinks their info is being stolen, Scout maybe a post from a mod like you on a fresh topic would sort of relax everyone. dont want to tell you how to do your job at all mate just an idea.

Still happening for me. Not a massive issue for buyers but I bet it's annoying for vendors. Not as annoying as no SR access though ;)

The page has timed out - kicked me off four times in the last hour or two. It's a small annoyance I'm more than happy to live with if this new protocol keeps the road open!

I can log in search add things to my cart, but every time I go to my cart and try to update amount or shipping, I get the boot. I have been trying for 2 hours and cannot order anything.

Yeah. Still happening to me. I'm struggling to login too even although I'm putting in the captcha right and my username and password. I have to try it about 3 times.
To be honest I didn't think much about it until I saw this post. I'm just happy it's back online!

This was happening to me about an hour ago.
Really annoying when you notice the last 5 messages you sent out went to a login screen and you lose your place.

Just dropping by to say I've been knocked off 3 times in the past 10 minutes so the problem seems to still be occurring.

Anybody else having huge problems with Escrow? I have had several customers finalize and my account balance just keeps going down. I don't know how this is possible since my PIN is locked and won't be reset for a long while. As of right now, I'm out about $500 despite my customers and myself doing everything exactly by the book. The worst part is that Vendor Support hasn't even open my messages about the subject so basically their is no indication that the problem will be fixed or that I will ever get my money out of SR. This is really getting frustrating.

I'm having the same problem with the added bonus of having to type my credentials in 2-3 times to get logged in! I KNOW I'm typing in the correct info and each time I get the login screen I double-check the URL to make sure I', not being phished so I guess it's a glitch.

seems to happen every 5 mins for me atm, can barely get past a few pages each time.

happening all the time for me.. almost rendering it unusable for me. no rhyme or reason to when it does it either. I remember scout saying that DPR was aware of the problem but to have the mods keep a eye on it and let him know in a few days if it's still happening. Being in IT myself, I don't think it's going to mysteriously go away on it's own so hopefully he will look into the issue now, as opposed to waiting a few days. Then again, he could still be trying to catch up on sleep :)

DPR is constantly working on the site and is still cautious in case the attacker returns. So it is entirely possible that during these changes the log-out issue could be fixed. If it's not, then DPR will look into it more closely. However, he's aware of the problem and has asked only to be informed if it continues in the next day or so.

It is working well for me too.
I theorize that the sessions are kept in ephemeral memory and that the server was being restarted to implement code changes.

I'm getting knocked off as well, even though my password is correct. And I saw a one number captcha yesterday. Surprise surprise, it didn't work.
