sorry about the capitals just trying to get my head around this bloke never had a bad experience on sr till now and i went to resolution center gave him an exstension for 10 days but one day before it run out he said hewould reship with tracking if i FE so i took his word and here i am my fault realy but hopefuly SR can just say something to him so othersdont go thru this shit cheers peeps

No worries about the caps, it's just easier to read and understand when it's either in all lower case or capitalised in small doses. I fully understand your frustration, and it is a very hard way to have to learn the lesson never to FE. :( There's unfortunately nothing SR Support can do for you in this instance; if other buyers complain that the same thing has happened to them then SR Support will weigh up the information available to them and take whatever action they deem necessary.

He was incredibly fast with the shipping and had me tracking info within an hour or two of placing the order. I always received them within 2-3 days. The third time I ordered, he asked me to FE. I reluctantly did because I had received his other orders so quickly and he had a really good rating. Since then, he gave me a fake tracking number the same day I ordered. I messaged him about 5 times and after 4 days I got a message back saying that someone had hacked his account and was giving out fake tracking. He asked me to tell him what I had ordered and my address again and he would re-ship it. I did what he asked and that was on Tuesday and I have still had no response. I have sent him several messages and no response. I know that because I Finalized Early there is likely nothing that I can do. This is the first time I have been ripped off for a fairly large sum on the site, so it saddens me. :( I reported him to SR, but haven't heard anything back. He is still getting orders like crazy though, and I am sure that all those people are going to be disappointed as well. I still see FE on 75 percent or more of them. Is there anything else I can do to stop him from ripping people off? This is my first post, so not sure how this works. Thank you

Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about your misfortune; the only thing you can do is report the vendor to SR Support and never FE for any vendor in the future, even if you have made successful purchases from them before. SR Support cannot do anything about orders that are not kept in escrow. As far as they are concerned, 'finalised' means that the order was received and everything was satisfactory. If there's a problem, that is what the Resolution Center is for.
99% of the time you will be able to find a vendor offering the product you desire that does not require FE. Sometimes it may be a little pricier but personally speaking I would rather pay $10 or so more for an order that will remain in escrow. As I said to just4kikzz though, it's a hard way to learn never to FE. :(

Just in the past month we've seen several of these, and it's starting to become a trend. Disgruntled vendors going rogue.. Get that one last big cash out before leaving.
Sad truth is, even with tons of buyer history I get asked to FE quite often, and some vendors only do FE sales, so it's hard to separate who's legit and who's running off with your coins.
It's easy to say "never FE" when all you want is some weed, but for more exotic products, or vendors from farflung locales lots of vendors don't extend the escrow olive branch and just accept the loss in sales as part of the business.

Lets hope he comes through! Ordered 3 days ago. First buy, although friends have ordered and been successful.
He was very quick in messaging after the order had been placed. FE'd due to the whole 20% thing.
Fingers crossed, hopefully he posts on this thread!

I'm glad this experience hasn't turned you off Silk Road; there are plenty of excellent, legitimate vendors out there willing to work within escrow. Always do your research here on the forums before purchasing from a vendor on the Road, and don't ever feel pressured into FE'ing. It is your right to stay within escrow, remember that! :)
I hope you enjoy your next purchase on the Road, and hope you have a great weekend to make up for losing out this time. Karma has a way of working things out! ;)

I also have doubts about samgiancana. Placed a 1g order to him about 10 days ago and he claimed to have packed it and shipped it within 6 minutes of me placing the order. No show as of so far.
Maybe I'm skeptical but his demeanor screams scammer to me.

I'm pretty new here so I may be wrong but it seems that there is a fast growing number of previously reliable vendors who have started to scam their customers. Would this have anything to do with the issues SR has been facing lately?
This disturbing trend is ballooning into SRs #1 threat model IMO. I've personally seen three long-time vendors who filled hundreds of orders "break bad" and walk off with tens of thousands just in the past week; StatofEuphoria, DreamDimension, SamGiancana--all broke bad just in the past WEEK alone!
SR support simply says don't FE and we can't help you, this is not our problem but yours. Their answer is to simply never FE, but if you've been here long enough you'll find that this model only really works when you're buying common items like weed or trivial amounts. If you want precursors or just about any bulk listing, more times than not you are required to FE. There is a legitimate reason vendors require FE with certain products, so I wish management would take a more nuanced look at the problem.

I am not the person Sam is talking about. I did not even order meth. Coke and Ketamine. Neither of which I have received. I haven't sent a lot of posts because in the past I've not had any problems with vendors not responding or not sending out orders. This is the first time that I had a problem, so I decided to join up. I do read through the messages at times to check on vendors, but I think in the future I will be checking here before placing any orders with anyone.

just4kikzz, your best bet is to communicate directly to SamGiancana over on the marketplace when it is back up - it's entirely possible that he/she is not reading this, especially given its location.

Well heres my samg story:
I was one of the first people to order from this guy... I sampled some of his ICE (decent quality MiMMs is far better) and some of his 'high' heat coke (it was of subpar quality but he gave me a over weighed bag, so i didnt complain much..) I never had to FE the first time and I had my order within 2 days... i was impressed...
Now comes my second order:
I msg sam arrrange an order make sure he can ship it out fast and he responds to me by the minute, im impressed with his stellar communication and well my past order with him came blazing fast... so when he offers me 20% more for FE i dont think twice... Well fuck me in the ass without lube... because I sure as fuck wish I went through the forums here first. The old gut, told me something was up, but did i listen? nope let my inner drug fiend take over... "oh hes offering 20% more for free omg order now!!, and hell buddy aint scamming he shipped your first order np...., but something didnt quiet seem right.. yet I still ordered and FE'd"
Well hes not responded to me in days (ya SR had its up n downs as of late... but its no excuse to not reply in 72hrs when hes checking in every day)
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHIFTY FUCK, SAVE YOUR MONEY! NEVER EVER FE
THIS PRICK WILL GET WHATS COMING TO HIM SOONER THEN LATER!
I really hope the SR admins take this guy down before more good members get ripped!
IMO FE should not be allowed for new vendors that have been in business less then a year... After a year of successful transactions and positive reviews... then sure FE but giving these brand new vendors the ability to have their orders FE'd it just opens up the doorway for FRAUD!

Sorry to hear you story. :'( Almost the same thing happened to me with him as well. Two fast orders, so you think you can trust a vendor. I had a bad feeling as soon as he came back with the fake tracking. I have learned a hard expensive lesson from this.
