Trying to communicate with my customers has been difficult due to the changes being made to the site.
As a result, it has been difficult even sending emails to my customers. I'm afraid that they will think that customer service has gone down.
I think it would be a good idea if SR Administration would send out an email alerting buyers to be patient with their vendors because of the recent down time we've all been experiencing.

I think your customers will understand what's going on. The login page for SR explains that SR is down and links people to DPR's maintenance thread. :)
