Good day,
I seem to have been scammed by vendor 20DollarBill. The amount was for about $100. I'm guessing there's nothing I can do to get this back. I've tried to contact him but to no avail. I hope something is being done to bring him to justice because I've read of several other accounts of users being scammed. How do I proceed from here? Thanks for your help.

Did you stay in escrow? If so, you will be able to take it to resolution and ask for a refund. If, however, you finalized early, there is nothing SR Support can do. :(

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I FE'd in this case. I rarely ever do that for this exact reason, but this vendor had excellent stats. I guess that's all part of the scam. So SR can't do anything at all, like Ban the vendor, take away the bond he has to pay or anything like that? I've read of several others who experienced the same thing with 20DollarBill, and he has now conveniently taken down his listings and gone into stealth mode. Just seems like there's something that could be done.... well lesson learned anyways for sure. Thanks for the response.

SR can ban the vendor as long as he is reported as a scammer by using the "report this vendor" link on his profile.
Once there is enough proof that he has, indeed, scammed people, he will be banned.

yeah this is my first post on a forum and i created a username just to say i got scammed as well. I have bought several things on here and never did FE. And like people were saying he had good stats before, but now he just scammed everyone. He scammed me for $300. Oh well, lesson learned. I did report the vendor.

Well I guess I should be grateful for only losing $100. It sucks there's nothing else that can be done to recover our funds, but thus is the nature of this business. Lesson learned: never FE! Thanks everyone for your responses. I reported the vendor as well so hopefully he will be banned soon.

I'm not finding a vendor or user over on the main site named "20DollarBill" ... was he banned, or can anyone provide a link to his vendor profile? I reported him earlier today, never heard back though.

Has anything been done about this vendor yet? I'm seeing numerous reports of his scams and yet his profile is still up and running. This guy is a blatant liar and plays real nice until he gets your money, then you never hear from him again. I certainly learned my lesson, but I'm sad to see this guy's vendor page still up. Although I guess these things take time...people that like that just really piss me off! Sorry, rant over.
