So many scammers having a whale of a time, silkroad is a con.
The over inflated prices, volatile bitcoin rate, your order never gets sent you lose your money, it's gets cancelled you lose your money.
I even suspect silkroad admins to be in on scamming buyers, going in the sellers favour in a dispute and faking feedback comments.
People are losing hundreds which is just insanity, and told to just 'take it on the chin', these people must have far more money than brain cells in their head.
Want some advice GET OUT, GET OUT NOW ! Don't be one of those suckers crying in the general discussion cause they lost all their money....be smater than them.
Silkroad is for the sellers to scam you and for the silkroad admins to assist so they can get rich, it's all a big con.

Care to share some details or facts behind what your saying? I personally know 2 people who have had successful and very nice transactions. Did you get burnt? If so, please share so we can learn.

Nothing's perfect, and there will always be scammers.
As long as you know what you're doing, research who you're buying from, and don't gamble with more than you can afford to lose then you'll be fine.
I've been here over a year and have only been scammed once. And even that was avoidable and obvious now I think about it.
If you don't like it, don't use it. Simple

Well every transaction I've taken part in SR has worked out perfectly. Yes I pay a little more on SR but so far for the consistent quality, weight, convenience and security provided by not have to deal on the street or even an in house contact (just missed getting picked up in a major bust a few times with in house contacts and these days there is so much more potential violence one may encounter) that I'm more than happy to pay a bit of a premium price on SR. Eyes wide open no surprises.

I've generally had good experiences ordering for over a year now. Sometimes it doesn't work and usually the vendor gives a full refund. On the offchance a vendor isn't respond then SR always has given a fair resolution.

lol. SR doesn't control the value of bitcoin or its fluctuations.
Also, simple way to avoid "losing your money" if your order is cancelled: use vendors who don't hedge escrow.

Please calm down I think you are letting a few horror stories and a bad experience get the best of you. Maybe you can share your experience and gain help here there are lots of good things happening here just have to know where to look

Been doing the online/postal drug transaction thing even before SR was around, and I've had only 3 bad experiences...albeit all were on SR.
Once was because I FE'd because I was stupid, my fault. (Never, NEVER FE)
Once I was almost victim to a scam that others fell for, but I didn't FE and I got a full refund of the money that was in escrow, the admins here were good, but it took about a month to eventually get the money back.
Last one, an international order didn't make it, but I got the refund that the vendor stated in his profile with no delay.

I am a new user...to this place and to SR...I have made 17 transactions now......with mutiple different vendors, and every single order has arrived....You obviously just went to the wrong vendors....do a bit of research....SR is deffo not a scam...

As long as you check the forums before you purchase, and never FE, especially for a vendor you've never worked with, you should be fine. The escrow system is a godsend.

I doubt that there is that much scamming going on and you saying people are "losing hundreds" a few hundred dollars is insignificant in this game. I routinely make orders of 8,000+ which go through fine.

HAHA i got scammed once out of like 40 some buys and have moved thousands through SR, you must have bad luck man sorry...

I second, third, and fourth this. The fact us humble customers even have the option of utilizing a site such as Silk Road and have the opportunity to have access to substances we may never had had before is revolutionary. Despite that, all the hard work the site admins and the reputable sellers must have to go through to make sure that everything runs (relatively) smoothly, we should be thankful. If you have had even remote experience in the "black market" you would know there is always the possibility of being scammed, etc. Silk Road represents a contemporary alternative that reduces these risks, as long as you do your research and have more then two or three brain cells, you will find Silk Road a positive, communal space.

For all you others complaining about price,really? fuck me drunk,cum to Australia and have a look at what ppl are paying,and thats for shit gear.i pay less on SR for3.5g of meth or coke than what i do for half a gram of either one.So pls do me a favor and stop your sooking about prices,dont like it dont buy from here.The vendors on here for the most part are pretty decent folk,they put a lot on the line to provide u with their services. Im sure that most if not all of u have been ripped by your local street dealer at least once or twice and if u havent then why the fuck u on here?

What would you need to run a site like this? A few stoners sitting around all day writing reviews and reading forums, some computer specialists and some stuff people. Let's say 200 people? So still 20'000 for each person per month! Not bad, or...

Stop bitching and crying because you haven't done your research dumbass! You haven't shown any supportive documentation proving who scammed you, when , and why you chose the vender in question. As far as SR working you...lol

There are plenty of good sellers on SR. But you are dealing with drug dealers and the best sellers will go rogue at any time so find a few good sellers that sell the same thing and stick to them so that when one drops off you report that person(never FE) and move on to the next good seller that is on your bookmarked list. I have had many good purchases and I've been screwed a few times also. Being a noob doesn't help as you are prey and vendors will let you have it when you make stupid mistakes like FE early. Anyway, SR is great. USE PGP OR PRIVNOTE FOR ALL MESSAGES AND DON'T FE, DON'T STASH SHIT WHERE YOU LIVE OR USE A STASH SAFE(hidden safe,can, or some shit) AND DON'T SIGN FOR PACKAGES THAT COME FROM ADDRESSES YOU DON'T KNOW. Life will go one and everyone will be ok.

Allready had 2 successfull orders. I had a third that never came, and I got 100% refund.
I do not recommend to "runnnnnn" As this gentlemen proposes.

I have had :
-over 30 transactions
-spent over $11,000
-1.01% refund rate
-0% auto finalise
all in 2 months,the times i have been scammed was when things seemed to good to be true,i should have been a little less greedy and thought those few out.

Not been funny here but over inflated prices????? yeah stuff costs a little more but the quality is much better. And like everything in life you got a few bad apples at least here ur not gonna get shot while been ripped off. And lets all be honest we have all been giving a great fucking gift here and its up to all of us to make sure it continues
