Hi there,
So anyway, there appears to be a bug - as the system tells me that I may unlock my SR PIN in 89386 hours. That's 10 years from now.
I've posted 2 requests to SR customer support in the last couple of days, but only received 1 automated reply so far telling me to read the FAQ. I also posted in the bug report section of the forum a day ago (under a slightly different name - I forgot my forum password) but no reply.
Clearly this is a bug in the system.
Can someone tell me how I can get this process speeded up? I've got a few grand sitting in my account and I'm worried that the BTC bubble is going to pop and suddenly I'll be looking at substantially less money by the time this gets resolved.
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Skoobydoo.

Nobody hear has any power to help you, mate. Scream all you like, but I've seen them go a week without even responding to moderator's emails. Who knows... might do some good. Probably not though.
In my experience, there are absolutely no exceptions to PIN waiting periods. You just wait, and asking them to do it faster will just piss them off (yes, I'm aware that the automated system seems to have fucked up, I'm just saying asking them to break protocol or something is useless).

^ This is absolutely correct. As SS mentioned, there is no way to speed up the process .. there's a glitch, yes, so you could message SR Support about that, but you'll still have to wait the normal amount of time before they'll reset your PIN.

Thanks guys - I appreciate your input.
It appears that this is happening to other users (at least one anyway), which would indicate a larger issue here:

My account is down $800 since I first tried to get this resolved.
Looking for a positive in this - perhaps this 10 year lockdown of my account will make me a millionaire when the PIN is finally reset sometime in 2023 8)

Your account didn't lose any coins, but the value of those coins did decrease today.
