Title: Xanax Bar is a scammer and got banned, my order is still "in transit"

Thank God I didn't FE like he requested. My question is, do I have to wait for the 17 days to be over to get my refund? Or now that we all know he's a scammer can I get it now?

He didn't delete his profile - he was banned from the site.

I'm not sure when you get the refund in these cases, but maybe the other mod, samesamebutdifferent, can answer when he sees this.

Im in a similar position looking for answers - order is 'in transit', vendor flown the coop, i have BC in escrow - how to get back?

(48 to go - sigh)

You need to click on 'resolve' next to the order and it will take you into resolution. When that page opens up you will have the options to request a refund and post a message where you can explain things. If the vendor has been banned you should get a full refund pretty quickly with no damage to your stats.

There is a simple way to prevent this and protect yourself: ALWAYS STAY IN ESCROW!

Little bastard got me - his bedside manner was great, he modified what I wanted to fit my wallet and of course nothing came. Alas - me being a trusting fucker FE'ed  when it was placed in transit out of politeness cause I was going out of town for a week and didn't think it would be fair to leave him without his money.

Lesson learned for $100

SSBD my order is still processing, if i cancel do i receive a lower refund due to btc drop?

or should i wait till it goes up then cancel?

If the transaction is hedged you are protected.
