Seriously though, anyone else get this?   It takes me forever to search for a vendor or something because of that

Yep, I get the error too.  It's because the forum software thinks we're all using the same IP.

Yeah, it's pretty fucking annoying.  Something similar happens when I try to post sometimes.

It'd be nice if they could base if off logins rather than IPs...

There is a very simple solution. Tor bounces across your localhost at 127.0.0.1 and the forum sees that as the instead of a public IP, since there is no public IP. All you have to do is configure tor to use another IP on your local subnet. Using a random one like 127.0.0.207 would completely eliminate the error, unless you actually do search twice in 5 seconds.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry about it. It's not that big of an issue anyway. I'm not going to explain how to do it, because if you need help then you probably won't be able to fix anything if you mess it up.
