You will need to contact SR support on the main site, nothing can be done from the forums I'm afraid.

@kitten; samesame is right Kitten. I thought it was bad loosing hundreds in our instawallet. You know, I don't think there isn't any 100% safe place to keep bitcoins. And the more valuable they become - the more they attract a dishonest element who wants them. I can't imagine you could loose them here, but I didn't think instawallet would steal them either!

Good luck Kitten and keep us informed please!

Mom - meowwwww! fffffsssssssssttt! fffffssssssssttt!

If your coins are truly gone, then either you have your account set up to auto-withdraw, or you've been phished.  Have you ever logged on from a login screen asking for your PIN?

No Scout, The only thing I have done is as you said in another thread was contact support  when I was locked out of my account.. I did just as you said when they asked me for the wallet address that I last deposited into.. They fixed the pass word.. I resent it.. 24 hours later my bit coins where gone my balance reads Zero .. I have not entered my pin any place nor placed another order this is all that has been done..

18 hours after being told to contact support again, no reply from them..

Dose any one know if SR treats our bit coin wallets like Sweep accounts?

What a sweep account is... is where a "banking institution" literately sweeps the money out of an account to use it short term ( might be a few mins to a few hours) to pay out to other accounts and then puts the funds back into the original account..   That is the simplified explanation anyways..

I just pulled my blockchain and it has all these in and out transactions on it starting on Jan 30th 2013... I mean up until recently I had a very very tiny amount in that bit coin wallet so they are micro transactions really.. but.. This is the first I have ever looked at one of these things and to be honest I am not 100% what its telling me..

I need to change that wallet address dont I ?

Nope, they don't treat wallets like sweep accounts -- what you're seeing on blockchain is the SR bitcoin tumbler in action, mixing your bitcoins with the SR pool's.

I actually think that the account got phished..

First I was locked out as you know..

then my bit coins are gone..

and my pin number has changed..

I changed the wallet number and the pass word again just to be safe..

I can't change the pin since I dont know what someone else changed it too.. :(

I sent support a message about it tho..

am I just going to have to give up on this account? and get a new one?

Maybe wait and see if SR Support responds and is able to help .... I mean, if you changed the password, you should be okay because Support can reset your PIN after awhile.

For everyone's information

"When you register an account on Silk Road, you must create a PIN. Your PIN is in addition to your login passphrase and is required when making a purchase, transferring funds, withdrawing funds, and when making important updates.

If you forget your PIN, you will have 5 chances to enter it correctly before it is locked. After your 5th unsuccessful try, you will be redirected to the homepage where you will be shown a message with the time remaining before you can unlock your PIN. After waiting for the allotted time, that message will turn into a link to a page where you can create a new PIN.

If you see this message, but you have not used your 5 PIN entry attempts, it could mean that someone else has gained access to your account and is trying to reset your PIN. If this is the case, you should change your password asap and change your PIN once the wait time is over"

It lock out my pin and said I have to wait 72 hours

and the waiting begins..

Thought you guys might like to know.. maybe it will save someone else some time..

If you were phished you must have tried to log in via a phishing site and entered your pin number, it is the only way your coins could be withdrawn from your account. SR never asks for your pin a log in, if you find yourself being asked you are on a fake SR URL.
