Hate to downplay the excellent work the SR support staff do behind the scenes, but it really seems like this aspect of SR needs some more hands on deck, so to speak.
There have been close to a dozen vendors now that I have gone out of my way to report to the SR staff, only to be apparently ignored and have SR buyers be scammed out of thousands of dollars worth of bitcoin in the process.
I understand how important it is to spread out resources and time for all the intricacies there are in this game, but it's definitely something that would benefit the community a great deal if the process of identifying and banning attempted scam artists were to be stream-lined.

I will pass this feedback up to DPR as it is an important issue. I have no idea how many staff SR actually has to deal with support matters but I know it is not many.
Thanks for raising this issue, hopefully it will be something that gets resolved sooner rather than later.

Does it even work ? or is it just a gimmick ? a fallacy even I asked how many times does a vendor need to be reported & Im still waiting on an answer.

me and others who have pmd me have reported this guy everyday for months(i only started 3 weeks ago) for scamming and still nothing.
So you tell me what t f is going on ...plz

Yeah it's a bit of a rock and hard place I'm guessing with the even smaller number of staff you'd be able to trust on the main site, hopefully the newer\more specific reporting system is at least helping them out a bit. Thanks mate.
My feeling is that they're overwhelmed with support requests and it just takes a lot longer to get through them each day. Even more difficult would be to find another person to trust enough to bring onto their team. So for now, we just have to stay vigilant on the forums and do what we can here to help the staff. SSBD and I report to DPR and inigo on an almost daily basis, and I know that when we see a lot of reports of a specific vendor scamming people, we pass that info along immediately and staff over on the main site then look into it.
At the same time, there are other people abusing the "report this vendor" link by using it to report competitors, or report people for other reasons, and it just adds confusion.

The "Report Vendor" feature is also an outlet to let whiners complain about minor things because they think SR is just like Amazon or eBay instead of being a black market where vendors take an enormous risk to bring you the things you buy.
Vendor scamming? Forums and SR resolutions. If buyer FE'd, there is no recourse. Come to the forum and warn others.
