Title: trades within SR, ex: moneypak for btc?

are they allowed? is it a common occurrence? what are my options to buy btc other than having a bank account (which i don't)?

They are allowed, but dangerous because if you are scammed, there is nothing SR Support can do for you to get your money back because those transactions take place outside of the escrow system.

The only options to consider should be those not requiring a bank account anyways. In the US you can do a cash deposit with bitfloor, or there's also localbitcoins.com. Search for those two in the forums, I've already explained it like 3 times just today...
