Title: Can SR Staff Read SR Messages?

If I work out something with a vendor and they make a guarantee in an SR message, and they don't fulfill that guarantee, when the transaction goes to resolution, can SR staff see the messages sent between us?

Did you use pgp? Is the vendor trying to get you to finalize?

Yes, SR can read messages if it's necessary, but I can't imagine what kind of deal you'd be talking about ... if it has anything to do with completing the transaction outside of the escrow system, using a different method of payment, or anything like that, then it won't matter what it says -- if you deal outside of the escrow system, there's nothing SR Support can do to help you in cases of scam.
